Because of its outstanding biocompatibility and stable chemical characteristics, titanium is used in titanium pipe fittings. Good corrosion resistance:
Stainless steel is robust against pitting, acid corrosion, and stress corrosion. In contrast, titanium pipe fittings have a much stronger corrosion resistance and may be used in humid air and ocean environments.

At low temperatures, titanium alloy can still withstand mechanical stresses.
High strength:
The specific strength (strength/density) of titanium alloy is significantly higher than that of other metal structural materials. Its density is typically 4.51g/ cm³, or 60% of steel.
High thermal strength:
The high strength of titanium pipe fittings can be maintained for a long time at 450 to 500 °C. However, the specific strength of aluminum alloy decreases at 150 °C. The titanium alloy’s working temperature can drop below 500 °C, while the aluminum alloy’s can drop below 200 °C.
Without a scaling layer, the surface is smooth and the scaling coefficient is significantly lower: Excellent steel is not as strong as titanium pipe fittings, which also have exceptional heat resistance, low temperature toughness, and fracture toughness. The majority of titanium items are employed as titanium setting equipment, rocket and missile structural elements, and aviation components.
